Making the right choice.

After just one week, we had to return the cat we adopted last week.  She was a lovely cat, but she just did not like our home.   It was clear that she found the corgi Jubilee and Sparky the wonder dog too much to handle.  She would not come out from under the bed.  When we did manage to get her downstairs she went right under the couch.  She kept cowering and she just looked so darn sad.  There was nothing wrong with her...we just weren't the right family for her.

And so today she went back and we hope very soon will find a nice quiet home to call her own.  We still wanted to adopt a cat and are pleased to say we brought home Rory.  Her full name is Rorschach.  She looks like she is covered with ink blots so the boys thought this would be a good name.

Already she has become somewhat friendly with the dogs and has been busy exploring.  She is pretty high energy, has a lot of attitude and real sense of fun.  I think she will do just fine in our house.
